According to the information provided by the Ministry of National Defence, WOT soldiers may be called on to present immediately for up to 6 hours in the voivodships: Dolnośląskie, Lubuskie, Wielkopolska, Zachodniopomorskie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Warmian-Masurian, Podlaskie, Mazowieckie, Świętokrzyski, Łódź. In another voivodships, i.e. Opole, Silesia and Lesser Poland, the call may take place within 12 hours.

The State Fire Department has besides prepared to aid with possible rains and storms. The Central Operations Detachment of Paradoxes and Cadets of Fire Schools remains on standby. In addition, the individual position of rescuers in the Silesian, Małopolska and Opole voivodships was increased.

The Government safety Center alerts on forecasted dense rainfall and storms on 27-28 July concern 12 voivodships, and informing against intense rain – Podkarpackie and Lublinie voivodships.

The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued third-degree warnings on Sunday and Monday against dense rain with storms for the confederate part of the Opole, Silesia and Lesser Poland Voivodeship, and second-degree warnings for the majority of the country but for its north-western part. IMGW besides issued second-degree hydrological warnings against water intakes exceeding informing conditions in Lesser Poland, Silesia and Opole. The remainder of Poland, but in the north-west, is subject to a first-degree hydrological warning.

Due to these warnings, citizens are asked to be vigilant and careful. In case of emergency, emergency services should be contacted immediately.

Data provided by IMGW indicate that precipitation can scope an strength of up to 30 mm per hr and that the wind can scope up to 80 km/h. The air temperature can scope 25 degrees Celsius.
