On the “strip” at the border with Belarus

Attempts to breach the barrier and illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border by increasingly aggressive migrants. Young, strong men throwing stones, rods, glass bottles. The Polish soldiers of the Task Force “Podlas” we visited in July face this daily. We were in the vicinity of Michałów, in 1 of the bases and on the border “strip”.

The 2nd revision of the ZZ ‘Podlasie’, the core of which is the 12th Szczecin Mechanized Division, is slow coming to an end. By the end of July, after a six-month mission, the military will return to their home units. Soldiers from Western Pomerania will replace colleagues from Warmia and Mazury, from the 16th Division – what will their experiences be? We'll show you in a fewer months.
