It can service as a radio mast, but besides for the transport of goods and... mines of tiny areas – this is how Kikimora's multimodal quadrocopter works, the work of the Polish company Spectre Defence Solutions. The drone was first presented publically in July. During this year's edition, MSPO will apply for the prestigious Defender statue.
Kikimora was mainly based on national technologies. Only selected electronic and drive components as well as the data transmission strategy – 30% of all components – come from abroad suppliers. The drone premiered in July that year. It was presented during demonstrations at the office of the Cyberspace defence Army office in Legionowo. At the time, it served as a mobile relay mast, thanks to which the radio signal went to 5 reception points in Poland. In addition to Kikimory, Spectre Defence Solutions, companies from Poland – Enamor global and USA – Ultra Intelligence & Communications participated in the experiment.
Kikimora can emergence to 100 m in tallness erstwhile performing specified tasks and work for more than 24 hours. It's powered from the ground through a cable. but her options don't end there. It's a modular design. Just replace the transmitter attached to the drone, unplug the power cord and mount the cargo tank. – In specified configuration Kikimora is able to carry loads of 20 kg, for a distance of 20 km. He can stay in the air for half an hour. With a weight half the dimension of work increases twice – explains Łukasz Chaciński from Spectre Defence Solutions. But it's not over. In place of a cargo tank, 8 anti-tank tanks can be installed MN-123 overhead mines. Unmanned plan allows to drop them in automatic or manual mode. The strategy accurately indicates the positions on which the mines lie. It's very important. Look at the war in Ukraine. There many mines were placed without any endorsement. Today, it is not rather known where they are, and the demining of the country may take decades – says Chaciński.
The Qadrocopter can mine rapidly and effectively, virtually under the nose of the moving forces of the opponent. Drone moves almost silently. It besides uses solutions that make it resistant to what is called jamming, or purposeful interference between him and the operator.
Kikimora may inactive be operating in option four, namely carrying bombs. However, this solution was not presented by the maker at the fair.
– We have already managed to attract the military with our offer, but so far, no contract has resulted. Kikimora is besides curious in the mediate East," Chaciński admits.
W Kielcach quadrocopter was presented at the stand of the Cenzin commercial company, with which the maker has been cooperating for a long time. – Presented BSP systems, developed by Spectre Defence Solutions, constitute a very crucial extension of our offer to products that are a real competition for leading global manufacturers of this class of equipment," commented Paweł Terlecki, president of the board.
