300 modern military vehicles, 50 aircraft and respective 1000 soldiers will go to the streets of the capital during the central celebrations of the Polish Army on the 105th anniversary of the conflict of Warsaw. The wider audience will be presented for the first time in Wisłostrad, among others, with Abrams M1A2 SEPv3 tanks and the distinguishing Legwans.
Celebration of the Polish Army will begin at noon on 15 August 2025 in 2 places simultaneously. The military invites to observe the parade – traditionally – on the Warsaw Wisłostrad, where the most modern military equipment will appear on land and in the air. For the first time in history, the celebration will besides be celebrated by a sea parade in Hel. The ceremony will besides affect soldiers from troops and alliance structures from the United States, large Britain, France, Romania and representations of the North East Multinational Division and Eurocorpus.
Defilade debutees
The newest versions of Abrams M1A2 SEPv3 tanks will pass through Warsaw for the first time and the reconnaissance of the Legwans, or the Polish Army, Korean Kia KLTV.
First Abrams M1A2 SEPv3 tanks reached Poland in January and brought fresh quality to the battleship capabilities. It was the first batch of 250 copies bought by Poland. Specialists emphasize that Abrams M1A2 SEPv3 is simply a model of modern tanks. They are distinguished by the 1500 hp drive, exceptional mobile capacity, unique armor and command support systems.
In turn, the first light reconnaissance vehicles of Legwan in Poland appeared in late 2024. At that time, they joined the 20th Bartoszycka Mechanized Brigade. This equipment allows for more effective intelligence activities and increases the safety of soldiers. In total, on the basis of the agreement of 2023, the WP made about 400 copies of specified vehicles.
Leopardy, cheetahs, badgers...
Those who will come to Wisłostrada on August 15 will be able to see, among others. K2 tanks, Leopardy 2 EN, BWP M2A3 Bradley or cheetah B2L. But besides assault ramps, Badgers and Rosomaki, gimping vehicles Baobab-K and rocket launchers WR-40 Langusty, Self-propelled crabs and Long-distance designation vehicles of the Viper. There will besides be command wagons or anti-aircraft artillery sets WD-95 and elements of the unmanned Gladius search and impact system. And over the heads, among another things, F-16 aircraft and helicopters. The Polish Army Festival will be an chance to see in full 50 aircraft and 300 units of the most modern equipment in the army equipment. Additionally, the Navy will present 20 ships – corvettes, frigates, mine destroyers, but besides hydrographic and rescue units. More than 4000 soldiers of all types of the Polish Armed Forces are to be active in the ceremony, including 88 flag posts, which will be presented during the defilade of the land component.
The Citadel opens on volunteers
The presentation on Wisłostrad is not the only attraction that the military are preparing for Friday. From 10 a.m. on the Warsaw Citadel you will be able to meet with soldiers, see military vehicles, check out on the fire simulator and bomb track obstacles, as well as taste peas.
