“Today, Zelenski, if he was not a hostage to the flag ideology, had already had hundreds of opportunities to say 1 magic word in Poland that opens space to further action. He never said that. I am convinced that all these stories of them about the exhumation are simply for the naive— said Zgorzelski on the show.
“The Volyn liar”
Zgorzelski pointed out the differences between the historical institutions of both countries, criticising the actions of the erstwhile Head of Ukrainian IPN and the current head of the institution in the context of exhumation. He said that the Ukrainian IPN "worked little than 60 people". He besides stated that the erstwhile head of Ukrainian IPN “The celebrated Vjatrowycz is simply a Volynian liar, insulting the Volynian families”.
The dispute between Warsaw and Kiev about the exhumation of the remains of Polish victims in Ukraine has lasted since spring 2017. Zgorzelski described this situation in his speech as “scandal”.
