Michal Szimecki, president of the main opposition organization Progressive Slovakia, late visited Kiev. According to the head of government in Bratislava, he was there to promise that after coming to power send troops to Ukraine. Additionally, the Prime Minister stated that the opposition had promised Volodymyr Zelensk support for Ukrainian NATO membership.

Robert Fico declared that the government at the head of which he stands would never support Ukraine's entry into NATO because, in his opinion, this would mean a 3rd planet war. He added that he would not send soldiers to Ukraine, where they would have "guns directed towards Russians".
In addition, he defended his associate, Vice-President Tibor Gaszpara, which decided on Friday that Slovakia could talk from the EU. Fico said as the Warsaw Pact disappeared, so events in the planet can send back to EU and NATO history.
