It was expected to be a show of strength and technological advantage, and ended in humiliation. The Indian Rafale fighter, purchased for a gigantic sum, was shot down during an offensive operation against Pakistan. All indicates that Chinese technology utilized in the Pakistani J-10CE managed to outsmart an advanced electronic defence strategy that was to be insurmountable. For India and France, it is more than losing a device — it is simply a strategical blow to the image.
