Rain, heat and cold, as is said in the military, is simply a “tactic weather”, which is the perfect conditions for combat training. It is this aura that accompanies the territory of Przemyśl, which is undergoing integrated training in the area of the fresh Oak.

Between 01 and 14 September 2025, the first part of the integrated training of soldiers from the 20th Przemysl OT Brigade lasted. A full of nearly 250 OT soldiers took part in the exercise. The most represented were soldiers from the 201st Border defender Battalion, which were seconded by soldiers from command companies. The trainers improved their combat skills in the individual and specialised training phase. The scope of issues included shooting classes, tactical activities, bomb training and critical infrastructure security. The exercises were conducted at the Police Training Centre of the Land Army in Nowa Dęba.

A series of training of soldiers of the Territorial Defence Army takes place in 3 stages: the first – individual training, the second – specialist training and the 3rd – rapping training. Another three-year cycle is advanced training. Each phase of training ends with a fourteen-day training ground and certification of soldiers. The final of integrated training is simply a test of acquired skills.

Much attention was paid to shooting classes from MSBS GROT carbines, choice and device guns and VIS pistols, which were conducted at the polygon ranges, both during daytime and nighttime. The soldiers besides perpetuated cognition of minerry, i.e. establishing and detecting a minefield. On the another hand, radiotelephonists secured communications in the area of the course, thus improving the work and operation of radio and radio correspondence during tactical activities. An crucial part of the training besides included training in the field of BLS (Basic Life Support) preparing soldiers for professional first aid, including RKO (circulatory-respiration rescitation) and hemorrhaging, taking into account the situation of tactical conditions. This provides efficient and safe assistance to victims, especially during intervention.

An crucial event to complete the training integrated was the visit of the Commander of the Territorial Defence Army, Brig. Gen. Dr. Krzyszkof Stańczyk, who congratulated the soldiers on their commitment to the goals of the field exercise.

Integrated training is simply a two-week, dynamic exercise organized on the ground or in the permanent areas of work (SRO), which must be performed erstwhile a year by all WOT soldier. During many hours of activities held regardless of weather conditions, soldiers improve their skills at various stages of the training of military crafts, so that in real danger they can support
and effectively defend their local communities.
