The celebrations on the occasion of the National Winning Day of the Wielkopolska Uprising were attended, among others, by the head of the MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

I came to Poznań to bow to all those who gave their lives during the fight and showed us that Polishness is something that cannot be stopped," said Szymon Hołownia, talker of the Sejm, during the 106th anniversary celebrations Wielkopolska Uprising. 27 December is besides the National Winner's Day of the Wielkopolska Uprising.
As the politician emphasized, he wanted to bow before all the insurgents who took part in the armed struggles and took Poland out of abroad hands, but besides before the Wielkopolskas, who showed us and the planet that work was a struggle. Marek Woźniak, Marshal of Wielkopolska Voivodeship, indicated that 27 December is the most crucial date in the Wielkopolska calendar. – present we pay tribute to the heroes – to the insurgents and to everyone who supported them, we express our pride in the insurgency and joy of triumph – he said. He added that the success of the uprising brought Wielkopolska back to its homeland. “Let us remember the insurgents and rejoice in their victory, which brought us freedom,” said Wozniak.
During the Poznań celebrations, a memorial appeal was read and flowers were placed at the monument of the Wielkopolska Insurgents. At 4.40 p.m., the symbolic time of the uprising, sirens rang in the city and church bells sounded.
Earlier in the cemetery of the Deserved Wielkopolska, participants of the ceremony laid the bonds on the graves of participants of the event: Gen. Stanisław Taczak and Colonel Wincenty Wierzejewski. The tribute was besides given to the insurgents at the commemorative plaques: Franciszek Ratajczak, the commanders of the Wielkopolska Uprising, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, the 15th Poznań Ulan Regiment and the Sailors of the Wielkopolska Uprising.
