Deputy Minister Cezary Tomczyk referred to false information about alleged leaving without the aid of a household whose home was destroyed on September 10 during Russian drone attacks in Poland.
The deputy chief of the MON pointed out that the household from Wyryki Municipality in Lublin received a residential accommodation from the mayor and denied reports that the military was not active in helping the injured. "WOT became active in cleaning and cleaning the property. On the scene, the prosecution secured all the material," wrote Cezary Tomczyk on social media. We are talking about soldiers of the 19th Perbuzhian Territorial Defence Brigade, which brings anti-crisis support in the east part of Lublin Voivodeship. The territorials were already present in the Wyrykas on September 10, removing debris and another dangerous elements from the property. They besides helped their household decision to a fresh place on September 16. ‘All activities were carried out jointly with municipal authorities and property owners. Soldiers are ready to support the owners of the property in Wyryka and the municipal authorities at all times”, emphasises WOT Command.

The deputy head of the MON besides informed that respective days after the event representatives of the Defence Ministry and the territory Infrastructure Board in Lublin met with the owners of the house, which will be rebuilt from scratch at the expense of the state. "In addition, the injured household will receive appropriate financial compensation from the MON", announced the Deputy Minister. He added that the victims had direct contact with the officials of the Ministry of Defence, to whom they could call private telephone numbers around the clock. "The talks have taken place respective times. The household is supported by a psychologist," said Cezary Tomczyk.
Previously, the Ministry of National Defence reported that the demolition of the home after the drone attack was conducted by the Military Police under the supervision of the D.A. and regardless of the final findings The home in Wyryka will be rebuilt at the expense of the state. "At the same time, we stress that the Russian Federation is liable for all the aggressive actions from 9 to 10 September 2025. All the consequences of aggression are due to the violation of our border by Russian drones," we read in a message from the MON.
