Polish Armed Forces Group without president. Krzysztof Trofiniak, who had been at the head of the national defence holding since March 2024, resigned. The PGZ informed this present in a short press release. It is not yet known erstwhile the supervisory board of the company will decide on a fresh CEO of PGZ SA.
In accordance with the provisions after the resignation of the president of the Management Board of the Polish Armed Forces Group SA, the Supervisory Board of the Company may decide to choose 1 of 2 forms of selection of the fresh head of the holding.
The first is the announcement of the competition for the position of president of the Management Board of the PGZ and an indication from among the another board members, now Arkadiusz Bąk, Marcin Idzik, Piotr Zawija, Jan Grabowski, of the individual who will execute these duties on a temporary basis until the competition is settled.
In the second variant PTZ Supervisory Board, presently in five-member composition – Artur Kolosowski – Chairman; Prof. Tomasz Siemiatkowski – Vice-President; Jakub Goźdkowski – Secretary; and Members: Tomasz Kołodziej and Zbigniew Leciejewski, identifies a fresh president from among the current members of the Management Board and entrusts him with a permanent mission to manage the Group.
Krzysztof Trofiniak headed the Polish Armed Forces Group since March 25, 2024. His professional career was closely related to the Polish defence industry. From 2008 to 2014, he headed Huta Stalowa Wola SA as its president and formerly CEO.
Polish Armed Forces Group is simply a national holding company created by dozens of state defence companies with very different profiles of operations, from strict production (e.g. the “Łucznik” Radom weapon Factory) to those that specialize in service and repair of military equipment and weapons (e.g. Military Aviation Plant No. 2 from Bydgoszcz).
