On 1 June, the fresh "Family 800 plus" transportation period began. You can inactive apply for money by the end of the period to avoid a withdrawal break. Parents must do this due to the fact that the law is not granted automatically. However, not everyone can number on a witness, for there is simply a fresh regulation this month. It concerns children from Ukraine.

In June, fresh payment rules came in 800 plus. This is simply a real revolution that concerns children of refugees from Ukraine surviving in Poland. According to the amendment of the Act of 1 July 2024, from the fresh transportation period the right to 800 plus will only have children who attend the institutions of the Polish education system.

Who will lose the right to 800+ in 2025? Children from Ukraine who do not go to Polish school

Ukrainian children who do not fulfil the school work in Poland will not receive the right to this financial support. The fresh rules only apply now due to the fact that earlier benefits were granted in the erstwhile settlement period. This 1 ended on May 31.

In the first half of last year, 800+ was paid for about 250 000 children from Ukraine. any of them (estimated as 20,000 children) will now lose the right to provide, unless parents send them to Polish schools.

800 plus they're gonna lose kids who turned 18. In addition, the government introduces rules which were not earlier — that benefits are not granted in situations where:

A insignificant will marry,

the kid presently resides or has been directed to an institution providing full, unpaid maintenance (e.g. youth educational centre, foster family, correctional facility or detention),

the kid has a kid of his own and receives a child’s education.

ZUS is waiting until the end of June for applications for 800+. Why is this word worth watching?

The 800 plus programme is available in Poland for all kid until the age of 18 – regardless of the income of the family. The benefit is tax-free and repo execution. Both biological parents and legal guardians or alternates may apply for them.

ZUS has been accepting applications since the beginning of February. "Although the deadline for submitting an application for an education is at the end of June, people who have not yet done so should hurry. The 1 in which period the application will be submitted to the Department is crucial for determining which period the benefit will be paid for" – reminds ZUS.

The fresh settlement period began on 1 June and will last until 31 May 2026. To date, ZUS has received more than 4.26 million applications for nearly 6.6 million children.

Although the kid inactive fulfils the conditions to receive the benefit (he is little than 18 years old), the payment is not extended "from the vending machine". Parents and carers must submit an appropriate application. This can only be done via the net – via PUE ZUS, the Emp@tia portal, electronic banking or mZUS application.

Payments of benefits on the basis of applications submitted correctly by 30 June will be made by the end of August, with compensation for erstwhile months. "However, it should be remembered that people whose applications will be sent to ZUS after June will not receive compensation for erstwhile months," we read on the ZUS website.

There's 1 exception. It concerns parents who late had a child. They have an additional 3 months to submit an application. If they do it within the time limit, they will receive a compensation benefit for the erstwhile months.
