More Polish TNT for the US

Nitro-Chem SA Chemical Plants signed a long-term contract with Paramount Enterprises global (PEI) for the supply of TNT from 2027 to 2029. This is another contract for Bydgoszcz chemical plants with American partners. The recently signed contract amounts to PLN 1.2 billion and strengthens Poland's position as the leading maker of TNT in NATO.

Bydgoszcz Nitro-Chem, owned by Polish Armed Forces Group, are expected to deliver between 2027 and 2029 18,000 tons of TNT to an American partner, Paramount Enterprises International. The explosive produced by the Bydgoszcz company will be intended for the implementation of U.S. government weapons programs, including 155 mm projectiles. “Poland is the largest maker of TNT in NATO, and Nitro-Chem is an establishment we can be arrogant of,” said Cezary Tomczyk, Secretary of State at the MON, during the solemn signing of the contract. The contract value is PLN 1.2 billion.

Cezary Tomczyk besides emphasized that the United States remains a strategical partner for Poland. – Our common interests can work both ways. Sometimes there will be contracts in which we will buy and get capabilities, sometimes specified as today, in which we will sale and do good business," said the politician. He besides admitted that the recently signed contract was another proof of the possible of the Polish arms manufacture and announced further investments in this sector. In the next fewer years, the government is to allocate about a billion zlotys to the improvement of the Polish armory.
