MON will look for anti-personnel mines! What options does Poland have?

18 March 2025. Ministers of Defence of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia announced a joint advice to retreat from the Ottawa Convention to ban anti-personnel mines. This decision is due to the worsening of the safety situation in the region and the request to increase the defence capacity of the east flank of NATO. The introduction of anti-personnel mines could be 1 way to defend borders from possible attack. At the same time, it is worth considering where Poland would get specified mines.
