After 3 decades of stagnation, military universities in Warsaw, Wrocław, Dęblin and Gdynia, through their investment, become visiting armed forces. Nothing surprising, they gotta accommodate and educate twice as many Officer candidates.
Rector-commandant Naval Academy He just picked up the key and cut the ribbon symbolizing the acquisition of 1 of the highest buildings in our military and the another in terms of tallness in Gdynia. The university was enriched with a 12-storey, nearly 50-metre, multi-purpose dormitory. The cost of this investment was PLN 112 million, the money came from the MON peculiar intent grant. The facility was to cost PLN 55 million, but the pandemic, inflation and costly materials raised the price. In the building, designed by the Gdynia studio Kowalski Architects, we will find 100 single rooms and 50 double rooms for students of the last year and possibly soldiers of the course participants, 4 training rooms, a cafeteria and a kitchen with the anticipation of full-day feeding 300 people, as well as six lecture rooms, for 50 people each, and an auditorium with seats for 70 listeners.
For a year now, the user of a new, somewhat lower multi-purpose dormitory (seven storeys) is the Military Aviation Academy. Over half a 1000 people live in the “Bielik”which can usage respective lecture rooms. In addition to this investment in Dęblin, late a modernised canteen and a modern sports and amusement hall (for PLN 48,5 million) were put into service, and in earlier years the stadium and modern college club were given away. The school has just decided to tender for the renovation of the capital student "Iskra" (for PLN 14 million). In 1 year it should be ready for re-population.

However, the investment possible of the Ministry of discipline is the Military method Academy. The value of construction projects implemented between 2024 and 2035 is expected to be PLN 1.51 billionAnd most of the money will come from a MON grant. Planned facilities will be attached to buildings built between 2021 and 1923, i.e. the laboratory of air defence rocket kits (given in 2021), the Imaging designation Cathedral (2022), the R & D Logistics Centre (2022) and the radio discipline and teaching centre (2023).
The year 2024 was peculiar in WAT investment activities. In July, the teaching building no. 2, placed in modular technology, was commissioned for the amount of PLN 23.2 million. At the beginning of the academic year, the university received a dormitory for 750 subjects, besides made in modular technology (within 9 months). The cost of its construction closed in the amount of PLN 95.3 million. 2 months later the university opened Centre for Mobile Robots (investment cost is PLN 38,5 million). It was created with respect to the subjects who would become officers of the engineering troops. In fresh months, the athletic section of the Academy has besides been expanded – the physical fitness centre (OSF) has been rebuilt, a modular gym has been built and the Bio-Renovation Centre has been upgraded. Students, staff and course listeners have been able to usage them since the beginning of 2025. The value of these 3 investments amounted to over PLN 14 million.
Last year the construction of the alleged micropolygon, i.e. the experimental and training hall, together with the R & D infrastructure for the Faculty of Land Engineering and Geodesy, with parking spaces, hardening of the site and experimental squares (for PLN 38.8 million). The value of investments completed between 2021 and 2021 amounted to almost PLN 305 million, including around PLN 226 million from the MON grant and PLN 79 million from own resources.

Last year the construction of the Centre of Innovation and Cybersecurity (a contract of PLN 201,1 million), the extension of the Institute of Radioelectronics of the Faculty of Electronics (24,7 million PLN) and the construction of a investigation laboratory for the Faculty of Land Engineering and Geodesy (15,9 million PLN). At the end of 2024, tender procedures were decided and contracts were signed for the construction of the WAT Training and investigation Centre building in Zegrzez (PLN 43.6 million) and the extension of buildings No. 15 and 23 for the purposes of the Centre for Construction, Operation and Diagnostics of Armoured Technology and Motor Engineering Department (PLN 33.7 million). In October last year WAT commissioned (for PLN 1.89 ml) the plan and construction of a training area with protection against ignition agents – napalm track. The facility is scheduled to be ready in September this year. Subsequent investments concern the teaching building (the budget is PLN 174.3 million) and the next dormitory with the cafeteria (the budget is PLN 153.5 million, the tender is being prepared). They are besides to be built: a laboratory building of advanced weapon systems with a manoeuvring area for the Armed and Aviation Mechatronics Department, a modular weapon range, 2 modular canteens, and warehouses and large garages.
The Academy of Land Forces has only been experiencing investment increases since 2024. On July 17, the university's rector-commandant signed a contract to build barracks and office buildings. The task is almost entirely financed by the MON peculiar intent grant. Its value is about PLN 300 million. 3 Siedlce-type barracks with complete infrastructure will be built on the grounds of the Academy, thus gaining almost a 1000 places to accommodate sub-divisions and workplaces for the school ward commanders. In addition, there will be a staff-office building of the Happy kind with jobs for about 450 soldiers and university staff. Buildings of the kind Siedlce and Happy are repetitive projects (designed for subdivisions 18 DZ), and the task of construction company designers is to adapt them to the needs of AWL.

Wrocław University has always been powerfully afraid with the physical condition of students. Hence another crucial investment for her – a sports complex on which the school planned to build 78 million PLN. AWL campus will make a multi-purpose sports hall with a large field that can be divided into 3 smaller playing areas, with a gym, a wellness area, a hand-to-hand combat area and an eight-meter climbing wall, method facilities and an audience for 200 fans. The plan and construction of the complex will proceed until the end of 2026.
The military's plans for further years include further investments. He showed up. the thought of reconstructing the Military Medical Academy in Łódź. The university, if it does arise, will request to recreate almost all the infrastructure, possibly with a clinical hospital. The substance will be explained in the military improvement programme for 2025–2039.
When I look at what happens in colleges, I see not only catching up, but besides the desire to make for many years solid conditions for the education of subsequent years of candidates for WP officers and – let us not forget it – civilian listeners and cadets of another states, headed to military studies on the basis of bilateral agreements. With modern facilities and improved education programs, universities will attract ambitious young people, due to the fact that information about excellent training and improvement conditions, as well as the due congratulations, the subjects will rapidly spread around the country to encourage younger colleagues to consider a wide scope of recruiting troops. Investing in departmental academies is by far the best MON spending in fresh years.
