Yesterday, the media reported that the F-16 was flying Colonel Maciej ‘Slab’ The Krakowian will gotta put any of it together. Piotr Antoni Skiba, spokesperson for the territory Attorney's Office in Warsaw, admits that investigators take this anticipation into account, although he adds that the case has not yet been settled. – The decision will be made in agreement with the State Commission for the Investigation of Air Accidents. A lot depends on it. the results of investigation into black boxes, i.e. aircraft-mounted flight recorders. If all the records can be read, possibly the reconstruction of the device will not be essential – the prosecutor explains.
It is not yet known precisely where the black boxes will be tested. In early September, the prosecution declared that this task would be entrusted to the center in 1 of the allied states. Further information on the subject will most likely appear on Monday. 1 thing is certain: it can take a long time just to examine the circumstances of the accident. As D.A. Skiba says – even a fewer twelve months. I wouldn't want to speculate right now. Remember, however, that the investigation After last year's plane crash, Bielik, which occurred in Gdynia, continues to this day. After all, we are talking about a school-training device with less systems than F-16 – the spokesperson points out.
The Warsaw D.A.'s office on the tragedy in Radom is conducting an investigation into inadvertently causing a plane crash. We're investigating 3 threads. The first concerns a possible plane failure. The another is connected to the pilot himself. We're checking to see if he made a mistake or fainted. The 3rd subject focuses on service and logistics issues. We will want to decide whether the mistake was made by ground service,” Skiba mentions. And he adds that presently no of these versions are overwhelming.
Col Maciej “Slab” Krakowian served in the 31st Tactical Aviation Base at Poznań Krzesiny. He was the leader of the F-16 Tiger Demo Team. On 28 August the device he piloted crashed during the rehearsal before the air show Radom 2025. The pilot died at the scene.
