How silently trained, how they fought and why they became a legend – this is what the film, which will be premiered on Wednesday, among others, on the "Polish Armed" channel on YouTube. The main character of the documentary “Ciechociemni – Plow” is Adam Boris, creator of Agatha and commander of the “Parasol” Battalion. In the movie about their predecessors, jumpers from the AK, their successors – JW veterans tell them. GROM.
The movie tells the communicative of Adam Boris (ps. “Plug”, “Director”, “Bryl”) – the silent, creator and commander of units specified as Agat (Anti-Gestapo) and Pegasus (Reverse-Gestapo), as well as the celebrated National Army Battalion “Parasol”. Adam Boris and his soldiers are behind the most spectacular actions of the Polish Underground State – the elimination of many Nazi criminals, including “Kata Warszawy” Franz Kutschery.
The premiere of the movie “Cieciemni – Plow” is scheduled for 1 October at 6.30 p.m. at the Warsaw Uprising Museum and on the “Polish Armed” Channel on YouTube. The date is symbolic, due to the fact that just on the night of October 1, 2nd, 1942, Adam Boris was dropped into the occupied homeland.
One of the movie makers, Piotr Szychowski, emphasizes that it is not a typical document, based solely on archival photos and with the voice of a background speaker. “Silent – Plow” is simply a movie in which the successors JW GROM veterans and outstanding experts tell about their predecessors, silent ones. He adds that viewers will learn, among another things, how they fired National Army paratroopers, how they fought with a knife, how they utilized the techniques of hand-to-hand combat, and what their parachute jump looked like. Major Krzysztof Puwalski, veteran JW GROM and JWK, stresses that participation in this production is simply a tribute to the predecessors and masters. Piotr Szychowski adds that working with veterans and soldiers of peculiar units is undoubtedly a pleasure, but besides a lesson of humility and a large motivation. – due to the fact that nevertheless you shoot, and whatever Rambo you think you are, it rapidly turns out that they are better...
