Ełk advanced School has been a renowned school for years, which prepares staff for various uniformed services. “On the occasion of our 10th anniversary, we were accompanied by alumni from all yearbooks, who chose different types of service at the end of education,” says Agnieszka Pasko, manager of the Major Władysław Raginis Secondary School of Uniform Education in Ełk.

According to tradition at the end of the school year, all cadet who completes his education at the Centre, says goodbye to the school, hitting the bell 4 times – after 1 stroke for each year of study. The thought to set up a school that will prepare staff for various uniformed services was born in 2011 on missions in Afghanistan, where a lieutenant. Agnieszka Pasko served as a caregiver for over a year. “We sat in a shelter and discussed what each of us would do erstwhile we returned to the country. I thought it would be worth utilizing the cognition of veterans to educate our successors and experiences to share with young people," Pasko recalls.

The preparations lasted for respective months before the CEM accepted the first 30 students in 2015. They began learning in 2 classes. present 300 cadets are taught at school, and each year about a 100 graduates leave her walls.

Cadets in the program have general education subjects specified as abroad languages, past and mathematics, and additionally classes according to the military education program, which was extended from 200 to 800 hours. The lessons are taught by veterans of abroad missions, instructors of active service of the Polish Army, and physical education and martial arts are taught by MMA masters. – Also, general subjects are useful in the military – says Mateusz Pawłowski, who teaches mathematics at the Centre. Nationally, the school won 3rd place in this category. “We are arrogant that our graduates service in all kinds of troops,” stressed manager Pasko.

Recently, a letter came to the Center from 1 of the graduates. She thanked for her first medical class due to the fact that they helped her save her heart condition. “These moments make us especially arrogant of our pupils,” admits Agnieszka Pasko.
