This year's Buzdigan Internauts winner St. chor. dir. Paweł “Domel” Domanski from the Military Unit of the Commandos gives the award for the auction. The proceeds from the auction will support the Foundation's activities "I support quietly and effectively". – The award is very crucial to me and that is why I decided not to keep it. St. chor. dir. Paul “Domel” Domański, the erstwhile operator of the Military Unit of the Commandos from Ljubljana, conquered the hearts of readers of the Polish-Army portal.pl: he gathered the largest number of votes, thus winning the Buzdigan Internates for 2024. In this rivalry, the Petty Officer defeated: Lieutenant Paul Bartel from the 1st Armoured Brigade, Olympic Champion, Bishop Alexandra Mirosław of the Central Military Sports Team, and Arthur Molada, TVN station reporter. “Domel” was appreciated, among others. for training K9 combat dogs and operators-conductors from the Lublin unit and the improvement (in collaboration with the instructors of the parachute jump department in JWK) of oxygen apparatus by which four-legged aircraft flying more than 4000 m may be deployed.
That's not all. The erstwhile operator (sub-officer retired on 1 February) besides deserved six abroad missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. He participated, among others, in the highest hazard operations, besides in the operation of the release of hostages codenamed "Sledgehammer", for which he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Military Cross. In 2024, during 1 of his last missions, he created a program to train Iraqi peculiar forces in the usage of combat dogs. He is besides co-author of national procedures for the evacuation of quadrupeds from the battlefield.
