The drones are a precedence of the Ministry of Defence. – Poland will be a strong drone industry, and the Polish army will be strong drones that we will buy for it – announced Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and stressed that almost all soldier will have contact with unmanned workers. With manufacturers of specified weapons, the head of the MON met in the 1st Armored Brigade.
The exhibition of drones of Polish manufacturers was organized by Inspectorate of Unmanned Armed Systems Military. At the invitation of the Ministry of Defence to the 1st Warsaw Armored Brigade 40 companies came to present their products. The gathering in Wesoła was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish and Deputy Minister of Defence Cezary Tomczyk and Paweł Bejda.
The head of the MON spoke about the importance of building an army drones, whether air or land or water. – In all these domains, in all units almost all soldier of the Polish Army will have contact with drones. This is our ambition, this is our goal – declared Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish. Earlier, the minister visited the stands of all companies presenting their products and saw a show of the action of drones on the camp.
– This is our large strategy. Building an army of hundreds of thousands of drones and the ability to produce millions of drones. This is the strategy that makes us always have the latest equipment – he added.
Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said that MON simplifies procedures related to the plan and production of unmanned workers in armed forces – equips units with 3D printers. The Minister pointed out that unmanned systems are now an absolute precedence in the Polish Army, which is why the Inspectorate of Unmanned Armed Systems was appointed on 1 January of that year. At its head Brig-Gen Mirosław Bodnar he besides attended the meeting. "The conflict in Ukraine, the situation on the front shows that the military and manufacture must act side by side," General Bodnar said.
The representatives of the MON stressed that the aim was not only to equip the Polish army with drones, but besides to make this manufacture in the country. The trick is to buy wisely. The Polish companies that present themselves here present are our destination. We want technology thought to stay in Poland. We want jobs to be created here and only the improvement of these companies will besides supply the anticipation of technological improvement – said Cezary Tomczyk, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Defence. “Today you can see that the supply chains and the proximity of the companies that make together with the military are the key to securing this drone revolution. This is truly a technological revolution in which Polish companies participate on a massive scale," added Tomczyk.
