After a seven-year break, the representation of the 11th Lubuska Division of Armored Cavalry won the general classification of the Polish Army championship in swimming. The Black Division's swimmers were 7 points ahead of the sailors and 27 pilots. The best players of the event in Zegrz were representatives of the Polish Navy: Mar. Magdalena Rogal and Sergeant Tomasz Rumianowski.
– I am very glad that after a seven-year absence on the highest phase of the podium we managed to win the swimming championship. We weren't expecting specified a good result. It is simply a large success of the trainer Major Krzysztof Wróbel and his subjects. We did everything we could," said Major Tomasz Traczuk, Head of the WF and athletics Section 11th Armoured Cavalry Division. Major Wróbel besides added a brick to the Black Division's triumph as a player – he won 2 gold medals in individual competition. In total, the 11 DKPanc representatives won 3 golds, as well as the 3rd in the aviation classification. The most gold medals – 7 – won sailors.
The championship held at the Military Arena swimming pool at the Communication and Computer discipline Training Centre in Zegrzu organized the Command of the Territorial Defence Army in cooperation with CSŁiI. 80 players and 40 players fought for the medals. Major Traczuk admitted that the rivalry was intertwined with the improvement of the Polish Army records, even in elimination races. That's what kmdr por noticed. Paweł Łępa, Head of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of the General Staff of the Polish Army. – 8 swimmers broke 12 Polish Army records. Therefore, the selection of the best players of the championship was very hard and we should truly award more of these awards – he emphasises. Interestingly, 1 of the records is not far from the best consequence in Poland. St. Wier. spec. Tomasz Polewka z 12th Mechanized Division WP evidence at a distance of 50 m with a dorsal kind shot to 23.72 s. Meanwhile, Kacpra Stokowski's Polish evidence is only better by 0.98 pp.
MVP and Second Youth
The most valuable players of the event (MVP) were announced representatives Polish Navy: Mar. Magdalena Rogal and Sergeant Tomasz Rumianowski. The best swimmer in her 3rd start in the military championships won a gold medal for the category over 35 years in the 50 m classical style. Like 2 years ago, she broke the Polish Army record. In addition, she and her colleagues won gold in a 4x50 m relay with the kind of any woman. Swimming training began at the age of nine. I trained for six years. And now I've practically been swimming for a 4th of a century. For only 2 weeks, I prepare intensively for the championship and that's adequate for me, as you can see, to win medals. This swimming movement is simply not forgotten... – he admits.
Sergeant, on the another hand. Rumianowski won 2 gold discs in the category over 35 years on 50 and 100 m dorsal kind and gold in the relay 4x50 m kind of any man. In winning individual medals he established 2 records of the Polish Army. Swimming began in the seventh grade of simple school. Later I trained at the club and at the university. I was on the Polish elder team, and erstwhile 13 years ago my military adventure began, I started starting in the military championships – says the best player of the championship. Not in all the events of this rank he competed, but he won adequate medals in them to make them hard to count. He was very pleased with the results achieved this year in Zegrzu, especially because, as he emphasizes, he had already turned 40 this year.
In the category over 35 years after 2 gold medals in individual competition outside the sergeant. Major Krzysztof Wróbel of the Black Division and Captain Mar. Karol Morek – squad gold medalist of military games in the 2011 Marine Fives. The erstwhile five-sider emphasizes that behind his medals in Zegrzu there are systematic workouts at the gym and at the pool. It's the perfect combination, so that's what I'm sticking to. I always tell myself that possibly you do not request to do any large quantitative training, but systematic, good quality, rational nutrition – this is simply a recipe for success. And besides determination – says the captain. He besides adds that the general classification of the championship is the most crucial to him. – A year ago, we won with a bigger scoring advantage than we now had a failure to the best. So I feel a small inadequate due to the fact that it's always fun to watch the Navy come first. But there is simply a goal ahead of us for next year to improve results, decision forward and not give up," noted the champion of the Rio de Janeiro military games 14 years ago.
In turn 3 medals in the championships (silver and bronze individually and silver in the relay 4x50 m kind of any man) won the sergeant. Marcin Horbacz. The Olympian of Athens and Beijing, although he turned 50 last year, is simply a contender that the Black Division can inactive number on. - Martin's unbreakable. He's surviving his second youth. He has a small breath from moving a national squad in a modern five-gauge and has found more time for himself, which immediately interest not only results, but besides changes his stature. It is simply an perfect to follow for young people – says Major Traczuk.
High level of professions
– The championship level was definitely much higher than last year. There were so many better players. In our squad we lacked 1 very good swimmer in 1 style. If we had a better one, I think we would have defended the first position in the general classification – said Mr. Marcin Kołoszuk, officer liable for preparing for the Polish Navy squad championship. However, the commander admits that the second place is not wrong, and stresses that the sailors have won the most gold medals.
Kmdr Lt. Paweł Łępa, head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the General Staff of the Polish Army, at the end of the competition pointed out that the competition was very fierce and reminded that the Black Division and Navy were represented in competition in the general athletics after 2 championships. They have the same points for 1 triumph and the other. An chance to rematch soon. In 3 weeks, we meet in Siedlce at the volleyball championship," noted the commander and thanked the hosts for the exemplary organization of the competition in Zegrze.
His first deputy Brig-Gen besides spoke. Grzegorz Barabieda, who thanked all players for their fierce sports rivalry and admitted that squad classification is the most important. However, he pointed out that not only were the soldiers of those representations, whose managers took the trophies to the podium.
