For reasons unknown to me, Andrzej Zoll's expected "fall" was bloated in public space. Many commentators, politicians, lawyers frequently even identify with political circles, to which this well-known lawyer claims that something supposedly happened – that we are dealing with something in a category – a fall. I may not know everything about this man’s career, but his feats have been with me for so many years that I do not share that opinion. I don't think Zoll's doing anything fresh today. It was always the same and present Zoll is the closest – the same.
I am already in a hurry to explain the reason why I do not mention the technological title, which unfortunately is formally due to this man. I won't usage it here due to the fact that I don't have the work to, and I think calling it a prof. is simply a insult to those professors I met during my studies. And for many, many others.
In 1990 Zoll appeared on tv as the head of the institution appointed to hold the presidential election. Signatures were besides submitted under the candidature of Kornel Morawiecki. I don't remember these numbers anymore, but it's the practice that matters, not the details. Practice, or possibly a reasoning style, or a case to be served. During the first tv appearance associated with registration of Zoll candidates, he announced that Kornel Morawiecki as a candidate would not be registered, due to the fact that after the signings were calculated it turned out that many (unless several?) thousands of signatures were missing. At that time he reacted immediately and decisively to the election staff of Kornel Morawiecki with a request to recalculate the signatures. The staff was convinced that he had given over 1 100 1000 required signatures. 2 days later Zoll appeared again on tv and said, “After recalculation, it turned out that the signatures were even little (!!!) than we agreed during the first count.” The fresh number of signatures under the candidature of Morawiecki Zoll then gave much smaller than the first. It was most likely 85 or 86,000 less, if I remember. In the circles, a supporter of Combating Solidarity and the independency opposition became inflamed. They took the voice of the lawyer, there were street protests and, of course, the request – another numbered votes. It's been a fewer days again and Zoll's on tv again. And then he hit the thickest tube saying that as a consequence of the 3rd count, the number is inactive different. This time Zoll ran out of tens of thousands of signatures! As I recall, this 3rd number set by Zoll and his men was about... sixty thousand! At the time, we realized that Zoll was a typical of those organs that mocked us in the eye. At the same time, they endure from specified utmost delusions that they cannot see even the most apparent fact. That means they're making fools of themselves. For, first of all, what did Zoll prove by his speeches, to which all fewer days the number of signatures ended with numbers that disagree by tens of thousands? In the most apparent way, he proved that simple arithmetic activities were beyond the intellectual horizons and his people and himself personally! Presumably, however, being a buffoon as utmost as it betrays all motion and gimmick – he could not scope specified a natural conclusion. I remember erstwhile we watched it on a live tv coverage of the S.P. Adaś Latvian commented on this with a mention to the movie “Miś”: “This Zoll just tells us how this locker area says: I don’t have your coat and what will you do to me?” What another participants commented: “It tells us directly: I am talking to you with utmost idioms due to the fact that I don’t care about you and everything that you present and democracy and all your rights.” And, “I don’t care what you think or want. Do you think there'll be any rights here? It doesn't substance who votes, it doesn't substance who signs their endorsements. It's who counts them. And I can count, for example, I, all 2 days more clearly proving that I can't count. Or I pretend I can't. So what will you do to me?” The 3rd number of signatures supporting Kornel Morawiecki was signed by Zoll with the statement: “We counted 3 times, we will not number again”. As you can see, he did not endure a bit from the fact that each number ended in a consequence – diametrically different! And with specified an apparent mega – Zoll's embarrassment seemingly felt great. But our well-being was worse. If individual had any illusions about the expected drifting distant from russian colony standards in 1990 – then he got free of them. due to the fact that now we were not ridiculed only by the government spokesperson Jerzy Urban. At that time, a man who had the top influence on the legal reality of our country was mocking all hell. What was it to do? We put any of our comments in our low-end press. The author of 1 of them was a prof. of habilitated physics. due to the fact that there were so many in the Fighting Solidarity community. The title of the article was "Zolla experimentation – the explanation of pairing signatures in support lists". utilizing technological methods, the author sought to explain in this analysis how to disappear, from hr to hour, from day to day, thousands of signatures given to Zoll supporting the candidacy of Kornel Morawiecki (doctor of theoretical physics).
I hope it is clear to everyone why I am incapable to put Zoll's name together with the word "professor". After all, it would be my agreement that in my country a prof. could be such. individual who doesn't have simple math skills. Or individual to whom “signatures evaporate”.
Following the overthrow of the government of Jan Olszewski Zoll on behalf of the Constitutional Court, he ruled that “a mirror is incompatible with the constitution”. I wasn't amazed to hear that. I knew Zoll was just individual who, if needed, was able to draw conclusions on absolutely all subject. possibly even on the subject of making a sandwich or legally applicable toilet paper techniques. I have no uncertainty that Zoll could even regulation on specified matters and draw specified conclusions from any paragraph of the Constitution. After all, in 1990, he gave a series of his appearances with strong evidence that making a public idiot of himself is easy for him. So he would be ready, on the basis of anything, to regulation on any nonsense, let alone that it is not possible in Poland to check whether the President, the Prime Minister and ministers are agents of hostile powers in Poland! Zoll spoke of this without blinking an eye: “Unconstitutional!”
From the very beginning of the 1990s, the appearance on Zoll's tv screen was a warrant for me to hear another bullshit in a moment. At 1 time, for example, he started to sneer something with a face expressing nothing but contempt, and not to complain that, as in Poland, against the background of countries of "mature democracies" there are very fewer lawyers in parliamentary benches. I remember those Zoll's grunts to this day, due to the fact that then they amazed me. After all, a lawyer, supposedly even a prof. of law and as it turned out, did not know (or pretended not to know) the works of luminaries of European legal and state thought who warned against the "legalistcracy". That is, before the law is passed by the courts in besides much part filed by lawyers. It is clear beyond uncertainty that this is the most apparent way to constitutional degeneration, to take power by the most selfish and cynical castes, that it is the simplest way – to totalitarianism.
It was these references to totalitarianism, expressed by thinkers who adhered to the "legalist-cracy" that reminded me of the origin of something that Zoll managed during the period of systemic transformation. That is – where the Constitutional Tribunal came from. I remember very well erstwhile I first heard about this organ. There were tanks outside the windows of my house, there was a curfew, detention and prison full of people captured at another demonstration. And from the tv I hear the voice of Jerzy Urban that the Sejm decided to make a fresh body – the Constitutional Court. I immediately thought, ‘ Why do they request it? In the state of war?” I understood erstwhile my father brought “The People's Tribune” from his work (every establishment subscribed it mandatoryly). And thanks to this "People's Tribune" I not only learned everything, but besides realized how terribly Jaruzelski's government is afraid and with what possibilities it matters. From an extended article (by the authorship of any prof. of law, but most likely not Zolla) I learned that the Constitutional Court would be able to absolutely always, without absolutely any real justification, to neglect absolutely ordering the decision of the Sejm! Of course – I immediately thought: why? After all, in the Polish People's Republic – only supporters of the government were allowed to run for Parliament! And then I realized that thanks to this Constitutional Court, which was called into force, the ruling Poland would be able to regulation even if there were free elections in Poland! I remember looking out the window at which Jaruzelski tanks stood. And I realized that the Jaruzelski Constitutional Court with its group was creating in case these tanks were not able to make it. due to the fact that even if Poles force free elections and will have a majority in the Sejm – Jaruzelski and his successors will have a Constitutional Court, which will be able to cast absolutely everything that liberated Poland and free Poles will want. My attention was then besides drawn to the highly long word of the judges of the Court. no under any circumstances – impossible to remove for 9 years! So it is adequate to have this Court in your hands, and all semes, senates, presidents, and whatever we would have invented, will have no real meaning. It is essential that this Court is held in their hands by the right people. due to the fact that in fact, there will always be power for those who will have established in the state of war – the Constitutional Court. Zoll was most likely the second president in the past of this Court...
For respective decades now, it has been a constant surprise to me that anyone for an individual whose “signs of support pair” and able to talk publically can have any real respect. And that in general, all his embarrassing delinquents can be taken seriously. Eventually, however, Zoll developed specified a critical mass, after which the most powerful even dams – broke. And yet (with what late!!!) he began to be judged as he should always be seen. due to the fact that he deserves all the ridicule, regret, ridicule that even the people of his own camp do not spare him today. Dieds about any interruptions in the Sejm's deliberations before the President's swearing-in or approval of elections by the Sejm and the legislature – they are just cherries on the cake. Before that Zoll had already challenged and legalized the elections and the legitimacy of all possible chambers... prof. Jan Majchrowski suggested to him, for example, that after Zoll's bullshit about the parliamentary and senatorial chambers, in the next Zoll – these variants to decide the office of the president of Poland, Zoll should include another – the Chamber. home – sobering.
After Molier, 1 could repeat: “You wanted it yourself, Grzegorz Dyndało”. Without the rest, citizen Zoll, you have earned the fame that prof. Majchrowski, Janusz Korwin – Mikke and many others are saying today. But I will announcement that Zoll has always been like this. He was never different. I wrote about him in 1991 in the paper “Days”, and I wrote about him in the book “People from Cornel” published years ago. Why did others realize who they were dealing with? Why – only now?
