Ladies and gentlemen,
Everyone sees this – hatred speech poisons public debate, human relations, social relations. It is increasingly a origin of violence, contempt and human harm.
I think that these words would be signed by Zofia Klepacka, Prof. Aleksander Nalaskowski, Prof. Ewa Budzyńska, Fr. Prof. Dariusz Oko, Fr. Prof. Tadeusz Guz, or Mr. Janusz, erstwhile worker of the Swedish furniture company and many, many others.
To them, hatred speech has become a origin of real harm: from online hate, from being expelled from work to being brought to justice. due to the fact that the concept of “hate speech” has been utilized for years a tool of force against those who talk about issues uncomfortable to the system.
But these words were not written by any right-wing politician, nor did any bishops give them in a fiery sermon. It's a contextual passage of an entry he posted on social media... Adam Bodnar.
He's the 1 who's been pushing the hatred speech bill through successive instances in the past months. He pushed her to the desk of president Andrzej Duda, who did not sign it, but referred her to the Constitutional Court. Right after that, Bodnar, in the same lamentable entry, concluded:
I'm not gonna run away.
I will humbly compose that "it happened": Adam Bodnar was no longer Minister of Justice yesterday. But his ‘heritage’, that is, the aforementioned law, has not ceased to be a threat to freedom of speech in Poland.
That is why, thanks to the support of our Friends and Donors, we have prepared the movie “The Speech of Haters – the Mask of Totalitarianism”, which presents the origin and essence of the concept of “talk of hate” and makes the threat hanging over Poles apparent!
I will remind you: in March of this year, the legislature accepted without amendment the amendment of the alleged hatred speech Act prepared by the Ministry of Justice. It predicted punishment for incitement to hatred due to disability, age, sex and... sexual orientation.
The entry into force of the fresh rules would mean limiting public debate, as any critical opinions on LGBT environments and their political and social demands, specified as on fresh "family models", could be punished. In the light of this law, punishment would even be subject to insulting a individual who declares himself to be a homosexual even if his sexual tastes were not the origin of insult!
In addition, Adam Bodnar in the guidelines, which were a complement to this project, provided for the anticipation of searching e-mails of people suspected of hatred speech or even stopping their electronic devices.
According to the project, for words that do not follow the ideological line outlined, you can go to prison for up to 3 years!
All the more so, that the "talk of hatred" has not been defined precisely. due to the fact that how am I expected to realize that, as a citizen with conventional views, who respects thorough biological knowledge, that for public message that there are only 2 sexes, I can go to prison? Or that by showing the beauty of a household based on a woman's and a man's relationship, I gotta face a charge of sowing hatred?
Let us not deceive ourselves: “a speech of hatred” is an ideological concept designed to build zones of influence and exert force on citizens, so that, for fear of criminal responsibility, they begin to stay silent, turn a blind eye to many things, that they may become indifferent in time, and yet adopt a fresh imagination of the world – a reality without healthy relationships, strong multigenerational homes and good patterns.
"Protection against hatred speech" was, so far, alongside abortion issues, the most aggressive attack on the institution of matrimony and household in fresh years. It's a totalitarian gag that was expected to be in everyone's mouth who defends marriage, household and... normality.
It is no wonder that this bill has caused a powerful social outrage. As shortly as it reached the President's desk, various environments (scientists, socialists, publicists) wrote open letters to him about it. We are We have submitted a petition signed by almost 34,000 people (including many of you) so that the president will not agree to the entry into force of this bill!
Thanks to this large social commitment we managed to halt the ideological fight: president Andrzej Duda did not veto this bill, but referred the case to the Constitutional Court to examine its compliance with the Constitution of Poland. In this case, 1 trial has already taken place; another is scheduled to take place in September, But it is not certain that a favorable conviction will halt the rulers.
Judgments of the Court shall not be published in the authoritative Journal. So even if the Court considers this act unconstitutional (which is very likely), we are inactive not certain what steps the government of Donald Tusk will take, who believes that the judgments of the Constitutional Tribunal do not apply.
So we can't feel safe.
In order to make Poles aware of what is happening and what threatens us as a society, we have created a movie "The Speech of hatred – Mask of Totalitarianism", which shows the rule of this tool of introducing censorship into the legal space.
In our production, we alarm: the concept of hatred speech is to defend alleged sexual minorities by preventing others from any, even constructive, criticism. It's a literal muzzle on those who care about the truth.
The movie is simply a reliable and professional production containing statements from legal and past experts. I consciously mentioned at the beginning of this message Fr. prof. Dariusz Oko and Fr. prof. Tadeusz Guz – these are, among others, their testimonies, people "experienced" with accusations of hatred speech, you can perceive to this material.
"The Speech of Haters – The Mask of Totalitarianism" was created solely by the support of our generous Donors and their goodwill. Without receiving any grants or grants from any state institution, we are only able to operate effectively with your help.
In your survey at the beginning of the year, you pointed out that it was crucial for you to defend the truth, freedom, household and life in virtual space and social media, while at the same time creating fresh publications and movie productions – that is why we consider these areas of our mission so important.
But we request your constant support. The cost of production (the work of manager and cameraman, logistics) of this movie reached almost PLN 20,000 and this is not the last expenses associated with this. We promised to send the movie to the Donors who supported its creation and we want to send it to all those of you who will order it after reading this newsletter (link in PS) – before us then costs of producing DVDs.
I am well aware that this is simply a "technological pastime", but I assure you that films are very popular in field meetings – that is why we must have more of them. We want to reach with the movie besides to the wider group, which involves expenditure on social media promotion.
It's not our first movie. Our initiative has already produced specified films as: “It’s nothing”, “The Crash of Civilization”, “Love greater than Fear”, “And I won’t leave you”, “In-Vitro – Life or Death?”.
Some of them are already available online. But at the same time, we know well that many unfavorable facts of the movie or interview are no longer there – censors in popular social networking sites are busy.
So we want to run own platformwhere we will put all our productions and be certain that they will not be removed or blocked. In order to accomplish this goal, we must commission this external IT company, which involves further expenditure.
Such a platform would be a large means of conveying the truth: the 1 about beautiful families, about sacrifice and love, but besides about uncomfortable threats and manipulations. It would be a good tool for local activists or teachers to show specified films at organized meetings or schoolroom students.

Finally, I would like to remind you that the entry into force of the rules on hatred speech will make life and household defenders at least uninterested.
Speaking of the fact that a household is simply a relation between a female and a man and that all individual has a right to life, showing it on the Marches for Life and Family, we are straight exposed not only to verbal attacks of left-wing environments. In a moment, it may turn out that this will consequence in a prison sentence, if any environment finds that these truths offend them...
