

Why is that important?
On 1 June, the second circular of presidential elections in Poland will take place. It will be attended by the president of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski and the Head of the Institute of National Memory Karol Nawrocki. Father Gużyński in a conversation with “GW” referred to the parish priest from Warsaw Bemov, who wants to excommunicate Rafał Trzaskowski and his constituents and to the priest from Szczawa who straight encouraged the vote on Karol Nawrocki.
What does the monk think?
— The President's election is primarily a political choice. In these elections, we do not decide whether abortion is morally incorrect or good. These are not just world-view choices either, but there is simply a simple political choice for a certain time, in which we answer the question of what interior and geopolitical situation we are in and where and how we want to go. We have 2 candidates now, and then we gotta choice one. This is simply a decision on what is better for the common good in Poland at the moment, which choice will supply us with social peace and external safety alternatively than ideological advantage," says Gużyński.
