President Volodymyr Zelenski congratulated Karol Nawrock on his election as president and declared that Ukraine is counting on fruitful cooperation in Poland, and he himself on individual cooperation with the fresh head of the neighbouring country.
"Congratulations to @NawrockiKn (Karol Nawrock) to elect in the presidential election. Poland, which protects the strength of its national spirit and belief in justice, was and remains the foundation of regional and European safety and a strong voice in the defence of the freedom and dignity of all nation," wrote Zelenski in Polish on platform X.

The State Election Commission officially announced Monday morning that in the second circular of the presidential election Karol Nawrocki, supported by the Law and Justice, was victorious with 50.89 percent of the votes. KO candidate Rafał Trzaskowski supported 49.11 percent of voters. Turnout was 71.63 percent.
