On 9 July 2025, the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights issued a very detailed and comprehensive judgement in Ukraine and the Netherlands v Russia concerning mass human rights violations during the aggressive war Moscow is conducting against Ukraine. The Court carefully and thoroughly analysed the evidence collected and found that Russia repeatedly utilized weapons without discrimination in various parts of Ukraine, as well as deliberately attacked civilians, medical facilities, infrastructure and shelters.
