The public opinion in Poland electrifies the issue of the distribution of grants under the KPO programme. And you can anticipate further scandalous news. "Social sin" in theological terms refers to sins that have a negative impact on the full community, not just on the individual. It includes violations of justice, the rights of a human person, the common good, and sins in social structures. It can take the form of acts or omissions and manifest itself in institutionalized forms of evil.

"The most common social sin is the sin of a bad example. Here's individual doing something objectively wrong. At first many get worse, criticize, condemn. But then after a while, the effect of habit takes place and individual begins to replicate the same evil in their life, then another individual and another. The individual’s bad conduct led to the spread of any evil in the community. This is the sin of an evil example which spills upon many people.”

This is the case in the case of funds from the KPO that the authorities can dispose of. First, they search resources for socially beneficial purposes. Many people have adopted the rule that available resources for themselves and friends should be used. It weakens the patriotic attitude to give something of itself to the community, the nation. We do something of our own due to the fact that we want the Homeland to develop.

And the anniversary of the miracle over Vistula clearly indicates that at the time young people were ready to give something of their property, but were ready to sacrifice their lives for the independency of Poland. Let this example decision us to make sacrifices. In times of peace, let it inspire us to support useful initiatives with its material means and willingness to participate in social initiatives, specified as defending the local community from threats.
