Should Poland own atomic weapons? This question is becoming more and more emotional. The results of the latest poll show that most Poles are in favour of this solution, although there are besides no shortage of opponents. What are the proportions, and who most frequently supports this idea?
According to 52.9 percent of respondents, Poland should have atomic weapons, 27.9% are against it - according to the UCE investigation poll for Onetu published on Friday. 19.2% of respondents are undecided.
The question whether Poland should have atomic weapons, 52.9 percent of the respondents answered yes. 20.8% of them powerfully support this initiative, and another 32.1 percent chose the answer "more or little so".
27.9% of respondents are opposed to Poland having atomic weapons. The option of "decisively not" chose 11.2 percent of people, and "not so" 16.7 percent.
19.2% of respondents indicated the answer "I don't know/difficult to say".
The authors of the survey pointed out that Poland's thought of atomic weapons was supported by 3 out of 5 supporters. Most of them are Confederate sympathizers (71.2% of them), Law and Justice (59.8% of them) and the 3rd Way (57.1% of them) who participated in the study. little enthusiastic are declared voters of the Civic Coalition (44.4 percent of them) and the Left (40.7 percent of them).
The survey was conducted on 18 and 19 February by the CAVI (Computer Assisted Web Interview) method by UCE investigation for Onetu on a example of 1,025 adult Poles aged 18-80. (PAP)
