Welcome to Army Days

And the chance to see PGZ-et products and modern equipment of the Polish Army will be the biggest attraction of “Army Days”. Soldiers invitation to the Kielce Freedom Square, where a military equipment exhibition will be organized on the weekend of 12 and 13 September. What will you see? All kinds of armed forces will present their weapons. So there will be armored army wagons – Abrams and K2 tanks and mechanized army transporters – BWP Borsuk and KTO Rosomak. There will be no shortage of representation of artillery, both conventional (armatohaubice Krab and K9, mortars Cancer) and rocket (Homar sets in the "American" and "Korean" version).

The military will besides show a number of wheeled vehicles, including light reconnaissance vehicles, light armored LOTR reconnaissance transporters, aeromobile vehicles, Kafar Aero and Cougar armoured transporters. On the another hand, lovers of drones and individual equipment will be able to see how this kind of equipment has changed for Polish soldiers.

The celebration of sports...

Furthermore, on Saturday, September 12th, a peculiar edition of Marcin Gortat Camp will be held. Participants will participate in professional trainings, fitness competitions and classes conducted by experienced trainers, as well as by the most celebrated Polish basketball player. The camp is primarily aimed at children of Polish soldiers aged 10–13 who are passionate about sports and want to make their skills.

Participation in trainings is free, but the number of seats is limited, the order of applications decides. Players with skills, commitment and sports attitude will have a chance to win the MVP Camp title, and the winner will receive a unique award funded by Marcin Gortat.

...and for the concert.

The programme of celebrations of the Festival of the Land Army could not miss the artistic part, or the Festival of the Polish Army. Lovers of “military playing” are invited to the summertime phase at the Kielce Cultural Centre on Friday. At 5:30 p.m. there will be a performance of the Military Orchestra from Radom.

Also on Saturday and Sunday, in both Freedom Square and Kielce Cultural Centre, a number of attractions are planned. Apart from concerts of military orchestras there will be presentations of works of visual artists created in military clubs, as well as works awarded on annually organized Film, Photography and Art Competition “Military Art”. A peculiar attraction will be parade drill shows. These are performances that combine the precision of movement, discipline and artistic skill of soldiers-musicians from military orchestras.

The large finale of the artistic part of “Army Days” will be a Sunday performance at 8:00 p.m. in the amphitheater of Kadzielnia. On the phase next to military artists there will be stars of the stage: Doda, Patrycja Markowska, Stasiek Kukulski, Piotr Cugowski, Kamil Bednarek and Grubson. They will sing patriotic and military songs re-arranged by Col. Mariusz Dziubka, conductor and artistic manager of the Polish Army typical Artistic Team.
