Last year’s debut of a fresh unmanned turret strategy from Huta Stalowa Wola, called the ZSMU 30/40, offered any insight into the reasoning of its designers. It was mounted on the Waran 4x4 Multipurpose Tactical Vehicle, designed, among another things, to service as a reconnaissance and command vehicle for artillery. This year, the same weapon module was demonstrated mounted on the UMPG platform, well known from the BWP Borsuk—which, after all, already has a dedicated turret system, the ZSSW-30, in serial production. What is the point of this?
