In the election of the president of the Republic of Poland, it is possible to vote in the voting circuit abroad, which will be created by a decree of the Minister of abroad Affairs. Elections shall be carried out on the basis of the provisions of the Act of 5 January 2011. – Election Code (Journal of Laws of 2023 item 2408 as amended).
In accordance with the order of the Marshal of the Polish Sejm on 15 January 2025 on the order of election of the president of the Republic of Poland (Journal of Laws, item 48), the vote will be held in Sunday 18 May 2025 from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m., i.e. on the day of the vote in the country, with the exception that if the vote in the country afraid was to be taken on the day following the day of the vote in the country, it shall be carried out on the day preceding that of 17 May 2025.
Polish citizens who are abroad will be able to vote only in person, in the premises of regional electoral commissions. The address details of the committees will be provided at a later date. In accordance with the electoral calendar announced by the Marshal of the Polish Sejm, information on the numbers and limits of the voting circuits abroad and the premises of the regional electoral commissions will be made public by 28 April 2025.
Information on participation in the vote, the premises of the regional electoral commissions, the methods of reporting for the voter's census and another applicable data from the point of view of the voter will be gradually posted on our website as well as available at the office itself and on the social profiles of the Polish Embassy in Canberra and the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Sydney.
