The final phase of the large exchange of POWs between Russia and Ukraine ended. Information about the return of captured soldiers confirmed both sides in their Sunday statements.
Russia and Ukraine completed a three-day exchange of prisoners of war, and each organization listed on Sunday 303 further detainees, reported Russian Ministry of Defence.

"So, according to Russian-Ukrainian agreements reached on 16 May in Istanbul, between 23 and 25 May the Russian and Ukrainian parties held an exchange in formula 1000 for 1000 people" - said the Ministry.

The exchange carried out on Sunday was the 65th since the beginning of the full-sized war of Russia against Ukraine and the sixth exchange this year - the coordination staff for POWs in Kiev reported.

At least 11 people, including 3 children, died as a consequence of night attacks, reported authorities in Kiev. The Russians utilized respective 100 rockets and long-range drones for bombings, which were fired, among others, from strategical bombers.
