The Lviv Circuit Council announced 2027 the year of the Ukrainian Insurgency Army (UPA), its commander Roman Szuchewycz, and activist of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) Oleh Oljed. This decision provoked outrage in Poland, and the case was referred to by Deputy Head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs Marcin Bosacki.
