The thought of paying 800+ only for Ukrainians who work and pay taxes in Poland supports 88% of respondents – according to the IBRiS survey for Tuesday's "Rzeczpospolita".

The respondents were asked: "How do you measure the electoral campaign's request to make the 800+ pay for Ukrainians dependent on their employment and payment of taxes in Poland?".

The vast majority, due to the fact that 88% of respondents expressed support for the idea. 44.4% of people chose the answer “decisively well” and 43.6 percent “preferably well”. This thought evaluates 3.2% of respondents, and 5.6% have no opinion on this issue. 88 percent of the ruling camp voters and 92 percent of opposition voters (PiS and Confederacy) support the idea.

The CATI survey was carried out by IBRiS for “Rzeczpospolita” on 24-25 January, on a example of 1071 respondents.

As “Rz” recalled, a fewer days ago, the proposal to pay 800+ only to those Ukrainian citizens who live and work in Poland was made by candidate KO Rafał Trzaskowski.

For me, it's rather natural, common sense. That's what Poles tell me on the streets.

He said.

Activities of Tusk

The thought was supported by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who stated that the proposal would be "urgently" dealt with by the government. KO coalitions: Nowa Lewica and Poland 2050 are opposed.

The case will be the subject of a seismic conflict – and most likely before the presidential election. due to the fact that late the head of KPRM Jan Grabić announced that the government would not wait “with this project” – we read in the journal.
