The largest NATO base in Europe is being built in Romania

The Romanian authorities are expanding the Mihail Kogalnicean Air Base close Constanta on the Black Sea, reports Romanian media. The estimated cost of the complex to become the "NATO capital" in Europe and the largest base of the Alliance on the continent is €2.5 billion. It will yet accommodate 10,000 soldiers and their families.
