The regiment will have its office in Brzesk. We begin the process of forming the first historical anti-aircraft regiment in this area. It's going to be about 1,000 soldiers. It will be equipped with anti-aircraft, anti-missile, anti-drone defence equipment, systems built under the Narew, Pilica + and SAN programs. She will be stationed here so that this tragic communicative from 87 years ago will never happen again - said Deputy Prime Minister, National Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

On September 4, 2026, in Brzesko-Słotwin, there were celebrations commemorating the 87th anniversary of the tragic bombing of the railway junction there by German aviation in September 1939. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, representatives of local authorities, clergy, soldiers of the Polish Army, scouts from Hufca ZHP Brzesko and gathered residents of the region.
