UP: Ukraine's global reserves increased in March

On April 1, 2025, Ukraine's global reserves amounted to $42,38 billion. In March, they increased by 5.6%. On April 7, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) press service informed about this.

As highlighted, the growth in reserves has been affected by respective factors. First of all, these were government receipts and payments related to the handling and repayment of public debt.

In addition, in March, compared to February, net salesNBU's currency fell by 12.5%. According to the balance sheet figures, the National Bank of Ukraine sold US$2.65 billion on the currency marketplace and bought $10 million into the reserves.

Let us remind you, in 2024 global reserves Ukraine rose by 8% and on January 1, 2025 was $43.8 billion. In February – decreased by 6.7%

and March 1 was $40.15 billion.
