Andrius Kubilius is an anti-communist oppositionist from the times of the USSR, a multi-annual Prime Minister of Lithuania (1999-2000 and 2008-2012), and so as a typical of the east flank of NATO and the EU, who understands our sensitivity and sense of danger from Russia.
