
The main nonsubjective of the task is to improve psychosocial well-being, reduce safety risks and reduce the scale of actions taken by conflict-affected people to survive, which may worsen their situation.
The task will be implemented taking into account front-front communities, isolated towns and people moving.
Around 13,300 beneficiaries will receive shelter support and non-food items, including shelter repair kits and materials, ad hoc repair of damaged homes, rehabilitation of social institutions and collective accommodation centres, winter preparation aid and distribution of basic non-food items.
Around 1,400 beneficiaries will receive cash aid to aid them meet the most urgent needs
Around 33,000 beneficiaries will be subject to urgent support in the area of access to water and hygiene, including: emergency water supply, repair of water supply systems, assistance to water and sewage companies (Vodokanal) and support for heating services, as well as distribution of hygiene kits and everyday products.
Around 34,250 beneficiaries will have access to home, individual and group psychosocial support (PSS) and intellectual guidance for adults and children, legal assistance, case management for the most vulnerable, information and awareness-raising activities and safe referrals to applicable services. It will besides support psychosocial activities in collective accommodation centres and local communities, as well as the improvement of social workers, first responders and task partners.
The task aims to strengthen the local nature of joint PAH activities and implementing partners. Local organisations have an in-depth knowing of the context – they realize the specificity of communities, local needs, cultural standards and delicate issues. This allows them to make solutions that meet real conditions and to effectively support those affected by the crisis.
A full of 72,495 people will receive assistance.
