Sylwester Marciniak, head of the State Electoral Commission, reported at a press conference that 5,739,537 people entitled to vote had been issued by 12 Sunday. This is 20.28 percent of the full number of people entitled to participate in elections.
The head of the PKW added that attendance in the erstwhile 2020 presidential election was over 24 percent (at noon), little than 15 percent in 2015, but little than 12 percent in the European Parliament election last year.
As we heard during the press conference, by 12 noon the highest attendance was in Małopolskie voivodships (23.05 percent), Podlaskie voivodships (22.57%) and Podkarpackie (22.3 percent). The lowest was in Opole Voivodeship – 16.17 percent. Most voters voted in Krynica Morska (50.16 percent).

Sylwester Marciniak besides told more about the unpleasant event that happened in Szczecin. A 97-year-old female lost consciousness there at the polling station. She came to the election with her son. The callers to the scene failed to save the old lady's life. The female missed her card and voted.
The event itself did not affect the electoral process, the committee continues to operate in the fresh room.
– A violent man broke into the premises in Bielsko-Biała territory and began to riot with another people. As a consequence of the riot, he bit the left forearm of 1 of the committee members. The man was incapacitated by patrol and the actions are led towards Article 222, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, or violation of the physical immunity of a associate of the committee," Sylwester Marciniak said of another serious event.
In this committee, too, the vote goes on smoothly.
– According to the study at 10 a.m. of the crimes set out in the electoral code, so far 4 have been recorded – the head of PKW said.
