I noticed that although sanctions were loudly announced, and the media assured that “ Russia would fall shortly enough”, this 1 is, however, holding on, in places surpassing pre-invasion indicators to Ukraine. Yes, sanctions origin a crisis, but here.

According to the propaganda narrative, Russia will shortly – most likely "be in 2 weeks" – fall economically due to effective sanctions. Dying of cancer, 20 Putin organs, kept in a psych ward, are overthrown by democratic opposition, and Russians in airplanes and tanks die in Ukraine from any baby cucumber jars thrown by them. And let's not forget that all erstwhile the Russians knock down their machines. And Zelenski apologized for Volyn and condemned the genocide in Poles, while the gratitude of the government in Kiev makes them treat us as friends.
So much propaganda. What about reality? Reality everyone sees. Russia – after the first flap at Kiev – is moving forward. Ukraine has late introduced duties and additional charges on, among others, Polish products. But we don't have coal for winter. Funnyly enough, the government gives coal subsidies that will not be there, although that is most likely ‘normal’ in a country where 1 Sasina seems to have been paid for elections that have not taken place.
The sanctions don't work. I mean, they don't act as they were announced due to the fact that they hit the Polish state and Poles. Rubel stands stronger than before the invasion of Ukraine. And as part of sanctions, Polish companies were closed. In turn these Russian found ways to circumvent the rules through e.g. intermediaries.
And speaking of invasion, the ruling oligarchy of Warsaw treats indigenous peoples on Polish lands as if the government were with individual at war. The elimination of selected net portals under the alleged charge of "Russian propaganda" – where for almost six months from that minute no charges have been filed against anyone from this theoretically serious title – or calls for not taking pictures of military units, although we have no formal state of war. He is besides not 1 of the allies of the Polish state.
But the oligarchs are eager to warm up the war. Not so long ago, the Prime Minister assured that “there are 40 million Poles in Poland ready to stand in arms.” Of course, the number itself is false unless it intends to send old people and children to fight. Also, there are not so many people who are ready due to the fact that the draft has long since disappeared, and at the same time there is simply a restrictive law on the possession of weapons. In effect, if you gave the average individual from my or younger yearbook a rifle, he'd most likely shoot himself.
The criminal lockdown as well as the conscious introduction of the coal crisis and the large price besides make Poles reluctant to fight for the Warsaw-based power group. Well, possibly beyond the 50+ generation, but let's be honest, how many of them are capable of anything another than voting for 15 retirements? And do His Lordship see these people differently?
But even if people were ready to fight, there's nothing to fight about. We send equipment to Ukraine. Not for hryvny, euro or dollars, or even for replacing, but for ‘thank you’. And we can buy replacements. Gentlemen!
So the sanctions were expected to hit Russia. They may have hit, but like this power – there are plenty of ways to deal with them. Meanwhile, we Poles pay their real price.
To be honest, I am not personally afraid of Russian occupation, due to the fact that I am already treated as a individual under occupation. Not from today, of course, but actually from the beginning of large Hysteria with almost immediate transition to the pretend-war mode many of us feel this highly strongly.
It is comforting that people sober up and the slogan "Russian onuca/Russian propaganda" is no longer a universal "argument" to justify all the madness and irresponsible decisions of the government, and people are in turmoil. It's just a pity that I was right again, and it's a pity that we all had to suffer, so that the exhilarating crowd, who were afraid with their own irrational feelings, got to that – as usual – was done.
