Tusk reacts after the debate in the Horses. "Festival of silly tricks and gadgets"

During Friday's presidential debates in Koński, there was intense exchange between candidates, and their speeches sparked a wide debate among politicians and netizens. This is how Donald Tusk, Prime Minister and Leader of the civilian Coalition, addressed them. There were sharp words.


On Friday, April 11, 2 presidential debates were held in Koński. The first was broadcast by Polsat News, TVP Info and TVN24, while the second was organized by tv Republic. The event was attended by a full of 8 presidential candidates who had the chance to exchange opinions on the future of Poland.

During the debate there were any controversial moments. 1 of them was the setting of the LGBT flag on Rafał Trzaskowski's desktop by Karol Nawrocki, which triggered the reaction of Trzaskowski himself, who decided to hide the flag. Shortly thereafter, Magdalena Biejat of the fresh Left placed the rainbow flag at her place without being ashamed of her symbolism.

– I'm not ashamed of her, I'll take her from you. Because, ladies and gentlemen, I am arrogant of Poland and I am arrogant that our citizens are besides choosing Poland – Biejat concluded.

In mention to Friday's debates, Donald Tusk posted on April 12 an entry on platform X, in which he stated that not all candidates were taking their start seriously in the presidential election. And the rate of these elections, as he pointed out, is very serious and very high.



He besides stated that "debates have changed (not since yesterday) into a festival of silly tricks and gadgets", suggesting that any candidates treat their speeches as fun alternatively than a serious expression of their views on the future of the country.

Jarosław Kaczyński disagrees. "You wanted it."


Just after the debates ended, despite the late hours, Jarosław Kaczyński, president of Law and Justice, who had a completely different opinion on the event, besides spoke on platform X.

In his entry he pointed out that the debate in Koński was won by Nawrocki, although it was organised by the staff of Rafał Trzaskowski and supported by journalists friends with his camp. "Organized by his own staff, led by journalists of friendly tv – and he died anyway", Kaczyński wrote, suggesting that Trzaskowski did not usage his support.



Kaczyński besides referred to the unfortunate accident of Trzaskowski, who confused the concepts of "telecommunication" and "communication", inviting Marek Jakubiak to travel by public transport in Warsaw. "All he has left is urban telecommunications," said Kaczyński.
