If the presidential elections were held next Sunday, Rafał Trzaskowski would get 38.3% of the vote. This is simply a clear increase in support of the KO candidate. In early March he had more than 5 percent points less, points to the latest United Surveys poll for Virtual Poland.
The second place of the podium, but far behind Trzaskowski, is Karol Nawrocki. The PiS candidate gets amazingly fewer votes. Its 20.1% is much little than the theoretical base of Law and Justice. Nawrocks, unfortunately, loses support. In early March, he had over 5 percent points more.
Right behind him is Sławomir Mentzen, who does not surpass the intellectual boundary of 20% and presently has 18.8% support. In his case it is possible to talk about comparative stability, his quotations increased by 0.8 percent points.
The talker of the Sejm Simon Hołownia can enjoy greater support. His ratings rose by 2.1 points, but the score of 7.1 percent of support gives him no hope of entering the II round.
Left-wing candidate Magdalena Biejat has 2.7 percent support (declined by 1.7 points). The next place is the organization candidate Together Adrian Zandberg (1.8 percent, +0.3 percent points), Krzysztof Stanowski (1.6 percent) and Euro MP Grzegorz Braun (1.1 percent).
And the second circular without any surprises.
The polling area immediately asked who the respondents would cast a vote in the second round. In this clash, the president of Warsaw besides wins with the president of the IPN by 56.1 to 33.6 percent of the votes. More than 10 percent of respondents hesitate.
United Surveys in the survey for WP.pl determined the expected attendance at nearly 65 percent. More than 52% of those surveyed said they would definitely go to urns.
The results of this poll were commented on on social media by Donald Tusk. "The superb strategy of the president begins to bring tangible benefits" – wrote the head of the government on X, he meant, of course, the president of PiS Jarosław Kaczyński.
Who will fight?
On Friday 4 April, the deadline for signing support for presidential candidates expired. The State Election Commission has already registered 11 names. Among them are Rafał Trzaskowski (KO), Szymon Hołownia (Third Road), Karol Nawrocki (supported by PiS), Magdalena Biejat (Levice), Adrian Zandberg (Together), Grzegorz Braun and Sławomir Mentzen (Confederation), Artur Bartoszewicz, Joanna Senyszyn, Marek Jakubiak and Marek Woch.
Six more candidates – including Krzysztof Stanowski, who declares to collect as many as 4 million signatures – await verification by PKW. If their candidatures are approved, there will be as many as 17 names on the ballot – which would be an absolute evidence in the past of the 3rd Polish presidential election.
