Three pillars of safety of Poland

Security is simply a Polish state. There is no more crucial task for the state than to give its citizens a peaceful, unchangeable and dignified life. The planet in which we function does not let us to think about safety in a narrow and one-dimensional way. Military safety is the foundation, but its sustainability depends on unchangeable institutions, a resilient society and strong global alliances.

Modern threats are multilayered. The war in Ukraine is not only a conventional conflict, but besides a psychological, information and logistical war. Hybrid attacks at the border, disinformation, migratory force or attempts to destabilise society show how widely the concept of threat should be understood. The answer must be comprehensive. In my imagination of safety policy, 3 pillars are crucial: a strong army, a strength in alliances and a national community. They complement and strengthen each other.

Strong Army

The Polish army must be better equipped, more modern and ready to respond to modern threats. Therefore, we make operational capabilities, invest in fresh equipment, modernize the chain of command and training. Operation Tarcza East has been the largest since the end of planet War II in the form of deterrence and defense. We are building a physical and technological line of reinforcements, which is not only dissuasive but besides symbolic: it shows the state's determination to defend its borders and its citizens.

Equally crucial is the readiness to address hybrid threats. Therefore, we make a cyber component in the Polish Army, strengthen tactical unions capable of acting under irregular conditions, and support the Territorial Defence Army as a structure close to citizens and locally oriented. safety cannot be understood simply as a military domain. It must have its civic dimension.

A strong army is not only modern equipment, but besides flexible doctrine, informational resilience and civic commitment – due to the fact that safety starts where the state and society talk with 1 voice.

We besides invest in strategical reserves, military logistics and infrastructure supporting the fast movement of troops within the country and in the region. The modernization of the army includes not only weapons, but besides operational reasoning – flexible, adaptable and able to operate in the information environment.

Power in Alliances

Poland is not a lonely island. She never was, and she can never be today. NATO and the European Union are not just global institutions. These are safety systems that supply us with real guarantees of support, deterrence and projection of force. We strengthen the presence of US troops in Poland, make critical infrastructure supporting military mobility, participate in NATO supply chains and strategical planning.

In parallel, we support the European dimension of defence cooperation. I believe that a stronger Europe is simply a stronger NATO. It is not adequate to be part of the West – you gotta participate in the decisions you make.

We want to build strategical capacity in the region – including by intensifying cooperation with the Nordic and Baltic countries. safety knows no administrative boundaries – it is based on networks of trust, interoperability and a coherent imagination of the future. In this spirit, we are developing technological partnerships, joint exercises, crisis planning and participation in EU programmes supporting innovation in the defence sector.

National Community and social resilience

We can't build safety without a community. Political and social divisions undermine the resilience of the state. We must be able to talk to 1 another on essential issues, specified as national interest and sovereignty. There is simply a request for a cross-party agreement on the key areas of safety policy. The challenges we face do not separate between political views or preferences.

Security is not born in isolation – it is based on lasting alliances, shared work and the ability to co-determine the future of the community we are part of.

Only by creating a community will we be able to work together in the field of civilian education and improvement of civilian defence capabilities and will we increase assurance in state institutions. The function of volunteer formations, local leaders and defence education is peculiarly crucial here.

Social resilience is besides the ability to separate between fact and falsehood in the information space. We support initiatives to combat misinformation and build digital resilience, including by raising awareness of the dangers that be in the media sphere. These are not side actions – this is the front line today. A conscious, solidarityal and organised society is the most effective safeguard against destabilisation.

A strong state begins with a strong community – capable of dialog over divisions, resistant to disinformation and conscious of its function in the safety system.

Overall position

Security must be understood in its entirety. The resilience of critical, energy, digital and information infrastructure is needed. But there is besides a request for political capacity for consensus, strategical reasoning on a scale of decades, not a term. It is not only about preparing for conflict, it is about the ability to last the various crises and threats and effective action in a changing world. This requires cooperation, trust and responsibility.

The safety of Poland must be built simultaneously from the bottom and from the top: by its own forces and through global alliances, by the hands of citizens and efforts of administration. This is not a task of 1 term, 1 government or 1 department. It's a national community project. Only as a community will we be immune. And only then will we be safe.

Therefore, the safety of Poland must be built simultaneously from the bottom and from the top. Local and international. In institutions and in the everyday lives of citizens. This is not a task of 1 term, 1 government or 1 department. It's a national community project. Only as a community will we be immune. And only then will we be safe.
