The candidate for president Rafał Trzaskowski proposed the debate, supported by the Law and Justice in the presidential election to Karol Nawrock on Friday 11 April in Koński (Świętokrzyskie province). "Mr. Charles Nawrocki, I hear you want to debate. Come on, I'm just informing you, you'll gotta answer the questions of journalists. I'm waiting for you in the horsehouse. You have adequate courage?" - said Trzaskowski in a movie published on the X portal.

The movie covered the entry: "Friday. 11 April. 8 o'clock. Honest rules, the biggest TV. I'm waiting. Courage, Mr. Nawrocki."

The proposal was addressed on Thursday morning by Prime Minister Tusk.

"Rafal Trzaskowski proposed a debate to Karol Nawrock! Not in Warsaw, in Koński! He didn't have to. He took the risk, despite the clear advantage in the polls. Kaczyński always ran distant from one-on-one. Will his candidate be a coward too? We will see on Friday" - wrote the head of government.

When will the debate take place?

It was in Koński in late March that Nawrocki called on Trzaskowski to debate on security, recalling that he did not participate in the 2020 presidential run in the debate organised in that town.

"I hope that in the last 5 years the component of the manhood of Rafał Trzaskowski is already at the right level and will not chicken out" - he said.

The next presidential debate, attended by presidential candidates, is held on April 14 tv Republic. According to the declarations, it will not be attended by Trzaskowski and Magdalena Biejat from the Left.

On 12 May, the president's joint debate will be organised by the 3 largest TVNs, TVPs and Polsats.
