KO candidate for president Rafał Trzaskowski announced on Sunday in Ostrów Mazowiecki the launch of a nationwide civic action "Citizens Forward", which, as highlighted by its leaders, aims to mobilise local communities and citizens across Poland.
During the gathering with the residents of Ostrów Mazowiecki, Trzaskowski thanked for his support so far; he said, among others, that 13.6,000 of his banners were hung in the last weekend throughout the country, and more than 15 1000 local authorities were active in the action "Governing Local Governments".

He besides announced a fresh action, which under the motto "Citizens Forward" is to include meetings with residents in many localities. "We effort to get anywhere. The gathering was besides attended by leaders of the fresh initiative: Euro MP Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz, Senator Krzysztof Kwiatkowski and MP Jakub Rutnicki.
"It is no coincidence that present we begin a civic action here in Ostrow Mazowiecka. due to the fact that Ostrów Mazowiecka is simply a village that is absolutely synonymous with civilian engagement and synonym for success," said Gasiak-Pihowicz, reminding the election success of local candidate KO, mayor Hubert Bethlehem. "Because it is. As a good candidate and active citizens, this is simply a victory" - she added.
The action "Citizens Forward" - as Senator Kwiatkowski emphasized in turn - is simply a movement of citizens who appeal to values: transparency, transparency, honesty. "This is all that our candidate Rafał Trzaskowski symbolizes" - he noted.
Politicians besides announced that the fresh action would include dozens of towns, bazaars and squares where they would talk to residents and present the program. "Today we are in Mazowsze, next day we will be in the mountains, the day after next day we will be in Mazury. We will be everywhere to convince to vote for our candidate" - added Rutnicki.
First tour 18 May
The presidential election will take place on May 18. On Friday at 16 o'clock, it was time to submit candidates before this year's election. So far, 11 candidates have been registered by the State Election Commission. These include: Artur Bartoszewicz, Magdalena Biejat, Grzegorz Braun, Szymon Hołownia, Marek Jakubiak, Sławomir Mentzen, Karol Nawrocki, Joanna Senyszyn, Rafał Trzaskowski, Marek Woch and Adrian Zandberg.
