Trzaskowski after the election: Sorry...

Rafał Trzaskowski posted a long entry on the X site, in which he thanked his voters for voting for him in the Sunday elections. "Thank you for believing in me," he wrote. The politician besides included an apology in his entry.


"Thank you for all vote. I fought to build Poland together strong, safe, honest, empathic. Modern Poland, where everyone will be able to fulfil their goals and aspirations. Thank you to everyone who voted for specified Poland" - wrote the politician of the Civic Platform.

"Thank you for your presence at the rallies. For all your kind words. For all the photos together, the handshakes, the cheers of support. For all banner displayed, for all banner. Thank you for believing in me and for voting for me on Sunday" - he added.

The president of Warsaw besides made an apology in his entry:

"And I am sorry that I failed to convince most citizens to my imagination of Poland. I'm sorry we didn't win together."

Finally, he congratulated his rival on his victory. "This win obliges, especially in specified hard times. Especially with a score so even. Remember this" - you appealed to Karol Nawrocki.

The State Election Commission officially announced Monday morning that in the second circular of the presidential election Karol Nawrocki, supported by the Law and Justice, was victorious with 50.89 percent of the votes. KO candidate Rafał Trzaskowski supported 49.11 percent of voters. Turnout was 71.63 percent.
