Donald Trump expressed his optimism about an early agreement between Israel and Hamas. The President-elect of the United States stated that there is simply a good chance of reaching any kind of agreement this week or next week. Trump stressed that the parties were very close to the agreement. There have been reports of Trump's strong force to enter a truce for the past fewer days.

"There is simply a good chance that we will have any kind of agreement this week or next week" - he told Trump journalists. «We are very close to the agreement. We want a ceasefire, peace, return of hostages" - he added.

A fresh circular of negotiations between Hamas and Israel has been underway in Qatar since Sunday. The talks are mediated by the United States, Qatar and Egypt.
