Tragic news from Iraq. Polish soldier is dead – the circumstances of death have been revealed

Sad information arrived from the Polish Military Quota in Iraq. The operational commander of the Polish Armed Forces said that 1 of the Polish soldiers took his life there last weekend. The Military Police Department under the supervision of the D.A. will analyse this case.

"With deep regret and sadness, I inform you that on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the station of the Polish Military Continent in Iraq, a tragic event occurred – the suicide of 1 of the soldiers serving as part of a mission outside the state" – wrote General Maciej Klish.

"The surrounding circumstances of this incidental are now explained by the Military Gendarmery under the supervision of the D.A. The household of the deceased soldier was given the essential support, including intellectual assistance. On behalf of my own and the full military community, I offer my condolences and condolences to the closest soldier," he added.

Let us remind you that since 2016, there has been a mission in which soldiers service in Iraq as part of the Polish Military Quota (being part of a global coalition against the muslim State). Currently, the PKW consists of 350 people. In their opinion, there is training of Iraqi safety forces, as well as logistical and medical assistance.
