A known athlete, utmost Spaniard Carlos Suarez, is dead. The man was killed by a parachute jump – the equipment failed.
52-year-old Suarez, a well-known utmost sports popularizer, died on Tuesday during the movie “La Fiera”. The work was to advance BASE jumps – a variant of parachuting, which assumes jumps from stationary platforms alternatively than airplanes.
In addition to Suarez, 3 others participated in the jump. The only failure was the athlete's parachute.
